Celebrating People

Gish is currently focused on creating mixed-media paintings inspired by her fascination with people. Her portraiture and figurative compositions begin with photos of the everyday people who populate her world. She is a “people watcher” who explores human connections through the language of art. The paintings are rich with layers of paint, antique papers and even a little fabric…finding her joy through texture and pattern.
