Layers of My World

In 2022, about a year after Lenore had picked up her brushes again, she began to embrace combining collage with her water colour paintings.. She painted objects she loved - from figurines and china to  the occasional portrait. Around these subjects were collaged fabrics, receipts, newspaper articles from that week, buttons, lace… anything from her world that could enrich her composition. She embraced “play” and allowed herself to freely explore the possibilities within these compositions. Since she was using 300 pound paper she was able to use her sewing machine to add stitching to her compositions as well. A favourite element for Lenore since she has had a long love affair with fabric arts. These are just some examples of this work. They are all sold or the property of the artist.
