Connections
Connections is Gish’s “word” for 2024. She is exploring the connections between people, between abstraction and realism, between the different parts of our brain - between the spiritual and the rational… How much of her painting does she want to “plan” ahead of time and how much of the composition does she want to discover through play and exploration? It is this dance, the process of creating that motivates Lenore. If the results enrich someone else’s life - that is even better!
